Mike's Maze at Warner Farm

Thank you all for a fun fall season and engaging in our adventure with biology. Next year we will do something a little less geeky, like maybe art and music!

Next fall we will be celebrating our 10th Anniversary, and of course we hope you will be able to join us.

Thank you Yankee Magazine for the Editor's Choice Best of NewEngland 2009 "Best Bargain" Award! What an honor! We are thrilled.
Our 2009 Maze celebrates the 173rd anniversary of the conclusion of the voyage of The HMS Beagle! Huh? OK, how about just celebrating Charles Darwin's 200th birthday? Happy Birthday Chuck! Our maze features the famed British naturalist with his penetrating gaze chiseled out of solid corn. Darwin is pictured with an assortment of the galapagos finches whose habitats, despite appearances above, were not long, thick beards but instead, isolated volcanic islands. For more, go to This Year's Maze

Put on your farm appropriate footwear and come for a "nature walk" along our miles of corn-lined trails.

The spudzookas are primed like the cannons aboard the 10-gun brig HMS Beagle that ferried our subject on his 5-year voyage around the world. And the Camera Obscura will be back, this time in its own field of sunflowers.

Yankee magazine blurbed Mike's farm-made donuts in their "Best Of" issue and now Mike is under the gun to get the donut machine to work like a fine swiss watch. Come enjoy our 2009 edition of the Corn Cafe and watch Mike match wits with his donut machine.

This Just In! Dateline-Warner Farm, Sunderland. A Proposal in Maze Pumpkins Produces a Propitious Pair!
The proposal as seen from the summit of Mount Sugarloaf. After a long day laying out the proposal with John I later found him still sitting in his car staring at the field. He said "Everything I ever wanted is in that field." What a guy!
John Laing of New York, with a little help from the farm, laid out 10,000 pounds of pumpkins to write his marriage proposal.
John and Ari, after she said yes (whew!), in the marriage proposal pumpkin patch.
