| Town of Sunderland | ||||||||||||||
| Sunderland is a classic New England farm town that grew to be a hometown for commuters and UMass students while maintaining its agricultural base. Graceful historic homes border its main street which is lined with stately, mature maple trees. Sunderland farmers continue to work one of the finest soils in the world, Hadley loam. The town landscape also includes the Mt. Toby highlands, one of the largest remaining contiguous blocks of forestland left in Massachusetts. Visit our Town's website or go directly to the Historical Commission's site. | ||||||||||||||
