| 2007- Satchmo! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Louis Armstrong's station in the history of jazz is umimpeachable. If it weren't for him, there wouldn't be any of us."- Dizzy Gillespie
Mazegoers were Maestros as they played jazz standards and more on our musical fences. Music, from our ears to yours!" |

| 2006- Julia! The French Chef | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Julia was, hands down, our most popular guest star. She was featured on NPR's Weekend Edition, American Public Media's Splendid Table, Vanidades magazine, and in the August/Sept. 2007 edition of Saveur magazine as well in the Boston Globe and a mention in the NewYork Times. Ristorante DiPaolo, The Blue Heron, and Bub's Barbecue featured some of their gustatory treats at the Corn Cafe on selected weekends in honor of Julia. mmmm. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| 2005- Bert Einstein and the Spiral Galaxy | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Potato Accelerators, Galileo's Laboratory, Wavesticks, the Potato Battery, the Solar System and a Black Hole lurked in the maze. Mazegoers left the farm with brains as large as pumpkins. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| 2004- John and George, The Candidates in Corn | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The candidates were all ears. Mazegoers hit the campaign trail to hustle votes in the corny states (Upchucky, Massiveshoefits, etc.). Mudslinging (courtesy of Hurricane Ivan) and the giant butterfly ballot with the spudzooka voting stylus rounded out our comprehensive electoral college experience. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| 2003- King Tut | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Corn was a King in 2003. The death mask of the boy king, Tutankhamun, provided the inspiration for a challenging maze. It also gave us an excuse for building a tomb and sarcophagus encasing Mike's mummy. Swept away by Egyptomania we erected a 1/20th scale model of the great pyramid of Khufu made with over 1 mile of bailing twine. Photos of our rendering of Tut appeared in middle eastern newspapers! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| 2002- The Babe | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| "Oh, make no mistake, the Babe is still here, still out in the land, his shadow enveloping his sport, as well as his country, in a way nobody in any profession has ever been able to duplicate. He is still the most memorable man who ever wore a uniform. He is Babe Ruth, the greatest of all time." (Source: Mike Barnicle, ESPN)
"He had the most famous face in the world. If he appeared out of the grave today everyone would know who he was." (Source: Ray Robinson, New York Times) Mike and the Babe appeared together in HBO's "The Curse of the Bambino". The Babe also made it on ESPN's SportsCenter as one of the "top ten plays of the day", |

| 2001- Mona Lisa | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Before there was a "DiVinci Code" there was our Mona Maze. Leonardo's subtle beauty is arguably the best known masterpiece in the world. It's been copied, praised, and parodied for centuries. Here was our contribution to that growing body of work, perhaps the largest copy ever made. The Mona Lisa maze was featured on "Ripley's Believe It or Not". | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| 2000- Mike's Amaizing Minuteman Maze | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Our inaugural maze was based on the 2000 Massachusetts quarter. It was 4 acres. Subsequent Mikesmazes have grown to 6 and now 8 acres in size. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
